Do all the charging stations have the same plug ?
The same plugs on all charging station in Europe
If you drive in Europe, you can be sure that all loading equipment meets the same standard. Indeed, the charging stations you will find everywhere are mode 3 versions, all of which are equipped with a type 2 socket. The aim of the European Union was to make available to electric motorists a system that meets all recharging needs. In some countries, such as France, the sockets installed on the charging stations are generally of the 2S type. They are so called because they are equipped with a shutter that prevents the user from accidentally touching the charging station's contactors. And in case you're wondering, the "S" of the 2S type is actually set to "shutter".
